Are You Tired of Never Feeling Good Enough Despite Everything You've Achieved?

You're successful on paper, but inside you feel like you're constantly fighting an uphill battle. The anxiety shows up as racing thoughts that won't stop, especially at night when you replay every conversation and decision. You second-guess yourself constantly, even though others see you as confident and capable.

For many of my clients, there's an added layer of complexity. If you're the daughter of immigrants, every decision becomes a calculation. Will this disappoint them? Will this make me lose myself? You love your family deeply, but their expectations feel like a weight you can never fully carry.

The emotional toll shows up everywhere:

  • Feeling exhausted from always being "on" and managing multiple expectations
  • Constant anxiety about making mistakes or being judged as inadequate
  • Identity confusion about who you are when you're not trying to meet everyone's needs
  • Fear that if you stop holding everything together, everything will fall apart

You deserve to feel as confident inside as you appear outside. The anxiety and self-doubt aren't character flaws, they're patterns that can be transformed with the right support.

You Deserve a Space Where You Feel Fully Seen

I am living proof that you can honor your roots while creating a life that feels authentically yours. As the daughter of an Egyptian father who moved to America at 25 and an American mother, I intimately understand the complexity of navigating multiple worlds, family expectations, and the pressure to be the "perfect daughter" while also pursuing your own dreams.

I used to struggle with the same feelings you're experiencing now, the guilt about wanting something different, the anxiety about disappointing family, the exhaustion from constantly code-switching between different versions of myself. Through my own journey in therapy and years of self-discovery, I learned how to shift the limiting beliefs that kept me small and created a life that honors both my background and my authentic self.

Since 2018, I've specialized in helping women, many of whom grew up in immigrant families, navigate these exact challenges. What makes our work different is that I don't just understand it professionally, I've lived it personally. My clients often tell me they feel truly seen and understood, many for the first time. This isn't therapy that feels disconnected from your reality, it's work with someone who gets the unique pressures you face and has found her way through them.

What Working Together Looks Like

I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you've had a bad experience before or aren't sure if this is really for you. So here’s what it typically looks like to get started with me:

Understanding Your Story

We start by getting to know you as a whole person, your background, goals, and the experiences that shaped how you see yourself today.

Uncovering the Patterns

Together, we explore the beliefs formed in childhood and adolescence that continue to influence your thoughts, feelings, and relationships as an adult.

Creating Lasting Change

Using practical tools and deep insight work, you'll learn to shift those limiting beliefs, manage anxiety effectively, and build the confident, authentic life you want.

"One of the first things I noticed in working with you was how deeply you listened and how I truly felt heard; therapy with you felt like an immediate fit for me. I loved connecting with you about Islam, the world, and the different facets of our identities. Your Happiness Matters Too Much to Wait

When you delay getting support, you're not weak, you're carrying an impossible load alone. The anxiety continues to drain your energy, the self-doubt keeps you playing small, and the exhaustion from trying to be everything to everyone never goes away. Most importantly, you miss out on the life you actually want to live.

But here's what's possible when you invest in yourself:

You can feel genuinely confident in who you are. The constant mental chatter can quiet down. You can set boundaries without guilt, trust your decisions, and show up authentically in your relationships. Many of my clients describe feeling more like themselves than they ever have before.

You don't have to choose between honoring your background and creating your own path. You can have both, and you deserve support in figuring out what that looks like for you.
